Katie performed Robert Burns’ poetry and spoke knowledgeably on the life of our Scottish bard with great feeling and depth. Her carefully crafted performance created a spell-binding atmosphere. Such was her mastery of the spoken word, all of the audience hung on her every word.

Katie is a wonderful storyteller who has been entertaining pre-school children at Daydreams Bookshop on a weekly basis. The children (and adults!) are always captivated by her stories and songs, and the children participate willingly. We have the storyteller Katie coming in regularly to tell us stories. When she starts her stories the atmosphere in the room is chillingly quiet as everyone concentrates on what she has to say.
